Seek common ground

I have to take a minute to thank Tim O’Doherty (“‘Legends’ of local restaurant businesses set high standard,” Guest Opinion, February 1) for reminding all of us that it is far more valuable to respect and seek common ground with our competitors than to dismiss and denigrate them. A positive message that our political leaders can’t seem to grasp.

Thanks Tim, I’m suddenly in the mood for a Hooligan and Hannigan’s corned beef sandwich and a half & half!
