CMR fund-raising letter
Our congresswoman sent me a letter asking for a political donation. She stands up to “pro-abortion groups, open borders advocates, and ideological mobs who demand government-run Medicare-for-All, Universal Basic Income and the Green New Deal.” You need a big shovel to scoop up that amount of political manure. The congresswoman, in Trump style, demonizes us as a “mob.”
Following the law doesn’t make you pro-abortion, wanting the NS freeway completed instead of a stupid Mexican wall doesn’t make you favor “open borders.” I am on Medicare and am pleased with how it works; giving a minor tax cut for workers while eliminating taxes for corporations forever is wrong. I put in a solar system and like how it works.
The congresswoman sees sensible progressivism as a threat. It wasn’t that long ago that tea party mobs were screaming at candidates at open houses. The congresswoman borrowed a trillion dollars to give tax cuts to elitist billionaires. What happens when the economy tanks? Look at the bubble the congresswoman blew and watch it pop when it hits the ground.
The congresswoman’s conservative agenda is to end regulations that protect our water, air, food, medicine and worker safety. That creates opportunities for multinational corporations to harm America and leave us with the mess to clean up.
It’s time for Cathy to retire and make millions as a lobbyist. Otherwise, Ukraine needs a new U.S. ambassador and Trump owes Cathy a favor.
