Celebrating vulgarity

What is society coming to when sports fans have to be exposed the vulgarity exhibited during half time? Why are these singers being glorified as if it was the most wonderful performance ever seen? We felt it was so offensive I had to shuttle my young son quickly out of the room.

Cultural statement? Is this how these performers feel they can empower Latina women, by fondling themselves and pole dancing? If we ever watch the Super Bowl again I’ll turn the channel when half time comes up if this is the type of show we can expect.
