The slippery slope to dictatorship

Naomi Wolf wrote“‘The End of America” in 2007. Her steps correspond to the first three years under Trump including the following: 1. Invoke a terrifying internal and external enemy. This includes Democrats and Iran 2. Create a gulag. It’s in Cuba. 3. Develop a thug caste: Putin, Jong-un, Manafort, Gates, Cohen, Flynn, Barr, etc. 4. Set up an internal surveillance system. The Russians and Cambridge Analytica, solicited by the Trump organization, did this during the 2016 elections. (Robert) Mueller indicted 34 people during his investigation of Russian interference with the 2016 elections which produced seven guilty pleas and five people went to prison. Most worked for Trump. Ukraine and China have been directly requested to interfere with our 2020 U.S. presidential elections to help Trump. Barr has blocked any similar Mueller-style investigations during the 2020 elections.

5. Harass citizens groups. Women, Mexicans and Muslims. 6. Engage in arbitrary detention and release. First part is done at the border. It’s since been moved to south of the border. 7. Target key individuals. Yovanovich, Vindman, Sondland, Pelosi, Schiff, Nadler, Romney, House and Senate Democrats. 8. Control the press. Fox News does this along with several other online media sources. 9. Dissent = treason. The number of times Trump has accused people of treason is too long to list and it includes the FBI. 10. Suspend the rule of law. The U.S. Senate’s Republican impeachment trial had no requested witnesses and no evidence documents. This is what oppression looks like heading toward a dictatorship.
