Caucus ruckus

To my patriotic, but liberal, friends across the aisle: The U.S. economy is the envy of the world. Our stock markets, all three major indices, are, and have been, in record territories. Interest rates are low, as is inflation. Unemployment in general is at a 50-year low at 3.7%. In particular black and Hispanic unemployment are at a historic lows. Women in the workplace are at a historic highs; women’s unemployment is at a record low. Fewer people are on food stamps.

And so you now you want to change to a socialist candidate from a party that can’t even manage the Iowa caucus; the same group of socialists that want to manage your health care? Remember the disastrous rollout of President Obama’s ACA?

President Trump may not fit your image of what a U.S. president should look like but he made some promises and kept those promises and most of us are better off. Vote in a socialist person who promises free stuff? I think not. As Greta Thunberg famously said: “How Dare You!”
