They will come around

I moved to Spokane in 1965. In that time, we’ve been asked to vote for a new airport, Coliseum and Expo ‘74. In every instance the voters voted them down. And yet, they’ve been built and by all measures have been a success.

In all the years, I’ve been to Albi Stadium just twice. I think I saw a football game there when my kids were at LC and once I saw the Cougars play.

Which brings me to the discussion of a downtown stadium. Build it!! And don’t listen to the voters. Listen to those that know.

After three years you won’t find a soul against it, except maybe a few far North Side naysayers.
