Recall Baumgartner

Baumgartner needs to be recalled. The Public Facilities District is $13 million over budget on a 40 million dollar project, and they are cooking up, with Baumgartner’s passionate assistance, more and more phony reasons to defy the voters and raid school district funds as part pushing for a downtown stadium. The key line in the Feb. 7, 2020, article “United Soccer League Pushes Downtown Stadium” is this: “Asked by the PFD to pool resources for a new stadium across the Spokane River from downtown, a majority of the board deferred to the 64% of voters who preferred the Albi site.”

The PFD is trying to raid school district funds, and Baumgartner is too deeply tangled up in this raid of school district funds to be allowed to remain in office.
