Liberal bias on Medicare

The opinion on Medicare ( “Medicare didn’t stop my $25K hospital bill,” Andrew Taylor, Dec. 27) was quite informative and gives prospective patients some good information on possible ways to avoid or mitigate crushing hospital and doctor bills.

I nearly dismissed the whole article, however, when Mr. Taylor alluded to the tax cut that benefited everyone who pays income taxes. Somehow he missed that and parroted fake news by saying that the primary beneficiaries were the wealthy and corporations. We all benefited, Andy.

Then the three letters to the editor were, as usual, biased to the fake news left.
