Bloomberg, he’s our man

Mister Contrary, here. I think it’s a shame that more Democrats aren’t embracing Michael Bloomberg. (I know, I know. But hear me out.)

The naysayers point out that he’s a gazillionaire. So? That makes him his own man, and when he was the mayor of New York, good things happened there. (Quit whining about “stop and frisk” for crying out loud. It’s fixed.)

He’s younger than Bernie. He acts younger than Joe. And he’s not much older than Liz. The Democrats *hope* that one of their current candidates could win. In my opinion, the only voters they appeal to are the hard-core, and that will NOT win the election.

In addition, any of the front-runners would fire up the Republican base to re-elect their man. Bloomberg’s politics seem to talk to everyone and much more than any of the other Democratic candidates. In my opinion, he could easily pull more Independents and I believe that there are even disenchanted Republicans who would vote for him.

Plus – in case you hadn’t heard – Judge Judy just endorsed him. There ya’go.
