Keep up the good work, Blanchette

After reading the “Blanchette and Leach” letter from Mark Donoghue in the January 13th Opinions page I feel compelled to say that I don’t really care what Mr. Donoghue thinks.

Most of the time, I do care what Mr. Blanchette thinks (at least as expressed in his writings). I have been reading the S-R for a long time; long enough to say that I used to read both the S-R and the Chronicle. Therefore, I have read Blanchette’s column many times, and while I am not always (but usually) in agreement with him, I find that his opinions are reasonably presented.

So … he should keep up the good work. I did feel that Mike Leach had a positive effect on the WSU football program and in general I was supportive of him — as long as he stayed out of national politics.
