Grateful for Wilkerson

Thank you for Adam Shanks’ great article on our new City Council member, Betsy Wilkerson (“Wilkerson ready to serve her city,” Jan. 20).

I’m grateful she was the one appointed. She seems to have much wisdom, compassion, and the maturity and humility that comes from suffering. We need her.
