Denny Heck well-qualified

Denny Heck, candidate for Washington State lieutenant governor, has deep and broad business and political experience at all levels.

Elected to the state Legislature 17th District in 1976. Chaired the House Education Committee and was House majority leader. Chief clerk of the House of Representatives. Chief of staff for Gov. Booth Gardner.

He co-founded and was the first president of Washington Public Affairs Network (TVW), giving our citizens firsthand knowledge of how our government works. He secured bipartisan private funding for its development.

Elected to Congress in 2012. The House speaker appointed him to the prestigious Intelligence Committee. While serving on this committee he ingratiated himself with the American people with his stellar knowledge of the issues during his interviews with national news networks.
