Kids as pawns

I am positively SICK about kids going back to school without adhering to CDC guidelines. The CDC now says they will not relax their guidelines, but who knows what they will do when Trump starts throwing his weight around. To play these kids as pawns in the political arena is unforgivable. CDC’s guidelines are too restrictive and expensive??? Expensive? That word alone makes me hyperventilate.

We all want the kids back in school; they have already lost substantial days of their childhood. But they cannot go back until safe procedures are in place. Many things that Trump and his buddies have rolled out have been disastrous, because they did not “think and plan.” Hmmm. Immigration travel ban? The border crisis? The magical disappearance of coronavirus? You know them all.

For once, may this administration do something thoughtfully, compassionately, and for the good of the country. Please urge your representative and senators to pressure the administration to do the right thing.
