Thank you, Cathy McMorris Rodgers, for your leadership in the area of eliminating surprise medical billing through your senior role in the House Energy and Commerce Committee. With bicameral and bipartisan support, this important committee has proposed a reasonable solution to often exorbitant surprise medical bills on unsuspecting and vulnerable patients when provided care by “out of network” physicians at an “in network” hospital.
