Adapt and wear a mask

When you were a child, ‘way back before covid, and you coughed or sneezed, what were you told to do? Cover your mouth right. Why? To prevent the spread of germs. You are also told to wash your hands after using the bathroom, to wash before meals, and when you came in dirty from outside. Why? To remove germs. For years doctors, nurses, and other care prover have worn masks during procedures. Why? To protect you from germs. So why do people not want to wear masks to protect both themselves and others from the covid germs? Some say they don’t want “the government” (who by the way is us) to tell them what to do. The government wouldn’t have to tell people what to do if they had shown the intelligence to do what is right in the first place. (And by the way, masks do not cause oxygen deprivation nor do people die from wearing them or there’d be piles of medical professionals lying dead all over the world.) Please, wear a mask.
