Video tells the story

For the love of God, George Floyd was restrained, with his hands behind his back, in handcuffs, when his life was snuffed out. I saw the video, and the video tells you all you need to know. That cop who pressed his knee onto Floyd’s neck should’ve known better. He has been on the police force for nearly twenty years.

Tell me if I’m missing something, but here’s what I see in the video: They put handcuffs on George Floyd, Floyd doesn’t appear to resist, somehow Floyd ends up on the ground, and the cop presses his knee down on Floyd’s neck until he crushes the life out of him. This shouldn’t happen anywhere in the world, let alone in the USA.

What if a regular citizen had done that to a cop? That person would’ve been arrested immediately. Why wasn’t that cop arrested immediately? I really hope that’s not the way Minneapolis trains their cops. In my opinion, the cops who stood by and allowed their fellow officer to do what he did to George Floyd should have intervened, so I think all four cops are guilty of murder, and they all need to do some time in prison.

What makes it worse is the cop had a smug look on his face the whole time he had his knee on George Floyd’s neck. It was as though the crappy cop was thinking, tra-la-la, just another day at the office.
