Rioting in America

Liberal cities are on fire. Protests over the death of George Floyd have morphed into riots and looting. Police are tasked with defusing the energy of a lawless mob taking nonstop video of their actions that will be scrutinized endlessly by people who want to destroy our rule of law. To what effect?

Where is the outrage of responsible people? Race shouldn’t be a factor. Protest is every citizen’s right. First Amendment. But the willful destruction of property and the attack on livelihoods of hard working Americans must be stopped. These thugs need to meet the full force of law. No exceptions. Maybe then, if those in authority of stricken cities execute their responsibilities to preserve law and order, America be able to return to a reasonable expectation of safety.

This isn’t a race issue as news organizations want us to believe. This is an opportunistic, criminal activity issue. We need to fix it, and get it right. Lawlessness must be confronted with appropriate force until it is neutralized. Then we can address the outrageous death of George Floyd, and try to make sure something like that never happens again. Ever.
