Our chance in November

“You have to dominate … if you don’t dominate, you look like jerks. You have to dominate.” These are the words of a man whose previous experience of executive leadership was limited to selecting hotel bathroom fixtures and play-acting on television.

Voters seeking a person with character and leadership skills to guide our nation past a global pandemic, an economic collapse, and convulsive violence in our streets will have to look elsewhere in November.

The Spokesman-Review invites original letters on local topics of public interest. Your letter must adhere to the following rules:

No more than 250 words
We reserve the right to reject letters that are not factually correct, racist or are written with malice.
We cannot accept more than one letter a month from the same writer.
With each letter, include your daytime phone number and street address.
