Speaking out is patriotism
I consider anyone who speaks out against injustice in this country a patriot. I can’t be silent when I see injustices against black men by the police because those injustices are so un-American.
Patriots — Republicans and Democrats — please come together to show that black justice is not a political issue; it’s a moral issue. And when Colin Kaepernick knelt, he became a patriot because he cared deeply about the future of this country.
