A very restrained message

I totally agree with Judy Lamont’s letter in the June 1st editorial page: “Not how it works.” God does not render judgment based on political affiliations. But if He is levying punishment upon the world, looking at the violations of biblical teachings provides reasons enough.

Examples: Taking prayer and biblical teaching out of public education, hiding public displays of the Ten Commandments because they are “offensive” to some people, homosexuality becoming “acceptable” in society and even in some churches in the name of “acceptance of all.” Denying one’s own given birth gender and imagining to be destined to be the other. And then there’s the murder of unborn babies in the womb.

With a list like that, if God is sending us a message via COVID, He is using amazing restraint.
