Grateful for the wealthy

Regarding Amanda Paul’s letter on 5/24 (“The Republican Party”):

Perhaps instead of chastisement of the wealthy on our country, she and others like her should be ever so grateful our America had the individual wealth to become the more desired country in the world.

Folks like the Vanderbilts, the Rockefellers, the Morgans, the Posts and the Kelloggs all borrowed money to invent a product to move America on the positive road to prosperity.

Most wealth was inherited.

Before people criticize the wealthy, we all should be grateful there are many on this day that are inventing something for us that will bring wealth to them and enjoyment to others

So I as a GOP supporter am extremely grateful for those like Ford and Chevy and so on. If the wealthy did not invest in America we would be a third world country.
