Easing the panic

This coronavirus panic is unneeded. It has been sensationalized and weaponized to the point of being stupid.

Just the very fact that there are so few deaths and contractions of symptoms really pales in the face of normal flu-like statistics .

According to latest CDC reports this morning as I write this, there have been the following numbers for the 2019-2020 flu season caused by a virus in the corona family.

They are

#1. 32,000,000 cases

#2. 310,000 hospitalizations

#3. 18,000 deaths. Caused by people with comprised immune systems and a few other things.

All of this in spite of a flu vaccine. And the same types of preventive information as being put out now.

So why don’t you print a story that will really put this whole deal in perspective? Instead of sensationalizing it , give people the real story and just the facts, not on some Third World country, but in the U.S., on these types of virus sickness and the damage they can cause.

It might save some stress on some of their anxieties.
