Pulling a Pelosi

Even before learning how Secretary of State Kim Wyman dealt with this year’s disgusting presidential primary ballot, here is how my wife and I handled it: Not wishing to identify ourselves with either political party, we did not mark the ballot at all, but taking a lesson from Nancy Pelosi, we tore the ballot in two and put it in the envelope.

This is what we wrote and signed on the furnished mailing envelope: “I refuse to vote under this dictatorial, unfair, un-American set up trap!” I assure you, it was not an easy choice to make, but I have no regrets for “defending” my honesty and conscience in this matter.
