Sidewalks need attention, too!

I’m a 93-year-old who has lived in the West Central area for 68 years. When I take my walk, in a walker, I have to walk in the streets because the sidewalks are so bad.

Now I have been told that the city wants to extend the Centennial Trail down Summit Avenue, tearing up all the sidewalks, pulling up trees, taking some of the people’s property and making everybody mad! Why doesn’t the city take that money, fix our streets and sidewalks in our neighborhood and make us all happy?
