School closures necessary?

With a population of over 7.5 million people and only 11 under the age of 20 (no deaths) have tested positive for the virus. Yet our ever-so brilliant governor has shut all of the schools in the state for the next six weeks.

If (God forbid) there was a bus accident on a state road, would he shut down the highways for 6 weeks? I know it’s not the same, but it is not the young who are getting the virus. And there have only been three positives east of the Cascades and one death (all old). Caution is good, but panic and overreacting can destroy our system of government.

Every city and state that is in trouble financially is run by a Democrat. I hope that is not what he wants for our state.
