Emergency relief fund

Unless you’re a tail-gunner on a Charmin delivery truck, chances are you are going to be hurt financially at some point in the current pandemic, if you haven’t been already. It looks like Congress and possibly the state is going to provide cash to families to help them survive until things return to more normal conditions. I, like many, many others, am blessed to be able to work from home and continue to receive my income and benefits. If funds are distributed to everyone, I move that a community account be established so those of us that aren’t as adversely affected can contribute their payments to help those that are. And we don’t have to stop there, we need a pot out there to throw money into to help our neighbors. We’re all in this together and when our community suffers we all share in that suffering. Any one second the motion?
