Listen to the experts

Everyone understands that there is a pandemic going on in the world currently; what is not to be understood is why no one is taking this issue seriously with the information that is out and available for the public.

According to Worldometers.info, there are 274,218 cases in the world currently today and 11,355 people have died from this virus. With that information alone people should be listening to the government and scientists that are giving us advice on how to stop spreading this virus.

The problem why people are not taking any of this seriously is because of the misinformation that is being spread about how the virus only affects certain populations. With this misinformation going around the younger, healthier people think that they are safe and are not going to get the virus, however, that is not true.

If the world would listen to the advice the scientists are giving us by staying home and lessening the curve, then this pandemic will diffuse faster. The only bad outcome that could come of staying isolated is the possibility of small businesses going out of business. Everyone needs to listen to the professionals and lessen the curve of this pandemic.
