V for vacuum-headed?

In mid-March, as “protection” from COVID-19, many Washington inmates began receiving early prison releases. This program has since reduced incarcerated populations at the Geiger Corrections Center and the Spokane County Jail by approximately 40%. On Wednesday, Sheriff Knezovich revealed that Spokane County commercial burglaries had nearly doubled in March and April, and residential burglaries had increased by 50%.

Except for Shawn Vestal, few local citizens were surprised by this spike in unlawful activity. In an April 12 column, Vestal applauded the State’s “Criminal Justice Reform,” forecasting only a “slight” increase in burglaries and property crime following the release of all these “low level” offenders.

Shawn has previously exhibited about as much common sense as the emu in those idiotic Liberty Insurance commercials. Having supported homeless shelters in the lobby of City Hall, the transformation of Spokane into another Sanctuary City for illegals, and constantly berating excessive “police brutality,” this pompous and self-promoting pundit has continually bombarded readers with “It’s YOUR fault, not THEIR fault” propaganda.

Personally, I think that the next 100 cellmates awarded Get Out of Jail Free cards should be allowed to permanently camp in Vestal’s front yard while waving “Thank God for Shawn and Pawn” signs.
