Vice President Mike Pence choose not to wear a face mask when he visited the Mayo Clinic, so he could look the doctors in the eye and thank them for the work they are doing.

A better thanks would be to follow the clinic’s rules for keeping exposure to a minimum, protecting clinic staff, patients and people Vice President Pence will come in contact with after his visit.
