Giving up liberty for security

Americans used to be a brave, wise and determined people. Americans have persevered through worse situations than COVID. I fear that too many Americans have become slothful, empty of reason, understanding and knowledge.

Recently, Americans were told by those we elected that we are incapable of caring for ourselves, that we must run and hide from COVID. Sadly, way too many Americans accepted what was told to them. Way too many Americans quickly surrendered their liberties and freedoms, in hope that government can protect all of us from all harm. Too many Americans have believed the lie that if we give up our liberty and freedom, we gain security.

Fortunately, there remain many who are brave, wise and determined. We know from history that we must persevere, for to fail is to be enslaved. Wake Up America!
