Just a reminder
Due to the recent events regarding COVID-19, I know that lots of people are feeling down in the dumps and stressed, but this is not a time to feel unhappy. Yes we should stay inside and not spend time with friends, yes we should social distance, and yes we should be careful and cautious, but this doesn’t mean that we can’t still have fun!
I am a student at Mead High School and I’m here to give a reminder: Being safe doesn’t require being sad or stressed. Instead of being worried or stressed, try playing games with the people around you, pick up a new hobby, for example, I’ve started to try cooking, or do something you love. Doing positive things gives you a positive attitude!
Also, being in quarantine doesn’t mean that you can’t still serve others. Whether it’s your own family or someone else, try to find something nice to do, and be of service to them, but safely. I bet that by the end of your help, you, and they, will feel great!
So, just a reminder: Being safe doesn’t require being sad or stressed. I encourage you to find something that will bring you joy during these tough times, and have a blast!
