Just another ad

I saw and read through Cathy McMorris Rodgers’ almost full-page “Thank You” to the “heroes serving on the front lines” during this difficult time.

I thought it was a nice thought until I noticed the fine print at the bottom of the page: Paid for by Cathy McMorris Rodgers for US Congress. It didn’t cost a nickel out of her pocket or even her office budget. Just another political ad produced by her campaign staff disguised as a personal gesture.

Oh well.
