Misinformation in the media
I just had to write because I’m so disgusted with all the misinformation spewed out by the media. Leonard Pitts, as usual, is off the mark re the Breonna Taylor incident (“Which of your children would you lose for $12 million?,” Sept. 28). The police were not indicted because their actions were justified. They were confronted with gunfire while trying to serve a legal warrant so had no choice. Sadly she was killed in the melee but the blame falls on her thug boyfriend, not the cops who were defending themselves.
Also the letter submitted by Col. Kowal is proof whatever details are pumped out by the media are supposedly accurate. Trump NEVER stated veterans are suckers and losers. This lie was generated by 4 unnamed sources to the Atlantic and promptly 2 dozen named sources claimed it never happened. It’s unbelievable to me that anyone can say anything without proof of any kind and have the masses take it to heart, especially if it’s negative about our president.
