Change is needed

This may be my last election. I’ll be 99 on December 8th. I’ve seen a lot in my lifetime. I lived through the Depression, waited for my husband to return from combat in WWII, raised six children, and moved to the Territory of Alaska in the winter of 1946 arriving in my best dress, nylons, and open toed heels. Dressed like that, the snow and cold of Alaska’s winter will kill you. It was obvious change was necessary to survive.

I believe the current political and social climate created by President Trump aided by congressional Republicans is just as dangerous to our democracy’s survival as that first winter in Alaska was to me. Change is needed. That’s why I’m voting Joe Biden for President and Dave Wilson for Congress.
