Don’t heed his advice

Trump’s recent tweet to tell us “not to be afraid of COVID” and “don’t let COVID dominate your life” is laughable. (“Trump returns to White House, but remains contagious,” Oct. 6).

It looks to me like COVID is dominating him. He was laid low by that tiny virus, hospitalized, on oxygen, given drugs both oral and IV and has a team of doctors looking after him. It’s taken a toll on him. He may not admit it but he doesn’t look well. He’s being negligent with this attitude.

A leader that would send himself and his warriors into battle without at least a shield to defend themselves against the enemy is reckless. Any warrior that goes to battle without a shield should wonder if their leader knows what he’s doing. Oh, and then the leader brings the enemy right into headquarters. And he tweets that he feels better than he did 20 years ago. It makes me wonder if his brain is affected.

In case there is any question: Leader = Trump, Warrior = the rest of us, Enemy = COVID and Shield = mask.
