Zack has my vote

Join me in voting for Zack Zappone for state representative. We need new leadership that puts Spokane families, businesses and the environment first. As a health care worker with ten years of experience, I am concerned about Mike Volz’s priorities and our community’s future.

Volz says that he is laser-focused on supporting families and improving access to health care, but his voting record says otherwise. Volz voted no on a bill to provide twelve weeks of paid family and medical leave to Washington workers. These policies hold our families together and keep them healthy. Parents should not have to leave their newborn child to make rent, and if a family member gets sick, we should be able to take care of them without the stress of working to make ends meet, especially during times like these.

Zack, on the other hand, has committed his career to make families and children a priority. As a teacher, Zack has supported students left behind and forgotten by the system. He fought for curriculum changes and expanded opportunities for children to be exposed to higher education.

Zack has my vote because his passion for our community shines bright. He has shown time and time again that he will be a selfless leader who will listen and take action. This is an opportunity for significant change within our community, and we as citizens need to take charge and vote. Let your voice be heard and be apart of the change that is desperately needed here in Spokane.
