Vote with wisdom

Hopefully we are approaching the end of four years of turmoil, corruption, impeachment and lies with Trump. The Republican Party should be wondering how did they go so far astray in their philosophy and principles to allow Trump to become president. Most of the armed militias on our streets are dangerous and Trump’s ignorant rhetoric emboldens them.

COVID-19 caused another crazy divide with predominantly Republicans/conservatives using mask-wearing as a rallying cry against science and government without concern about spreading the virus. Even the Republican candidate for Washington governor shares Trump’s views, which are that of the extreme right that draws people who refuse to hear truth and facts.

Remember in 2016 Trump alleged a likelihood of “rigged election.” Four years later he is again making outrageous claims about voter fraud. How did we get to the point other countries laugh at our leadership? The greatest democracy in the world? Debatable! There is always room for fault and criticism on both sides but where we are today is the fault of the Republican Party.

Please look carefully at facts and vote wisely as this country’s survival hinges on how you vote. Our country needs to heal.
