Where is the outrage?

We as a nation were outraged when 9/11 happened and 2,999 fellow Americans died. Today, 223,000 Americans have died due to Coronavirus, an additional 1,170 are dying daily. Yet, we as a nation have no plan. Each state, county and city does whatever they think is right. Could you imagine the national outrage we would have had to the same response to 9/11?

We know how to prevent the spread of all airborne diseases and others: wash your hands, keep your distance, don’t hang out with sick people, don’t go out sick, cover you nose and mouth. What is so hard about covering you nose and mouth?

This has nothing to do about restricting your freedom, your manhood, womanhood or your rights. It is about keeping yourself and others from either getting what you have or catching what others might have. When we slow the spread of the disease, we can open up the economy. Other countries have demonstrated that this model works. Paying people to staying home doesn’t work in the long run. Money runs out. In 2020 it is hard to believe as a nation we are unable, unwilling to do basic health care taught to us as children.
