Gratitude for Avista workers

I wanted to thank Avista for quickly restoring our power after a fallen tree knocked it out. In spite of thousands also being in the dark, we only suffered for 32 hours. The return of power made me realize how much I take electricity for granted. There are other things which we also take for granted. I can get as much water as I want simply by turning a tap. Our local bread bank ensures that we never go hungry.

We should stop taking stuff for granted. God holds America in the palm of his hand. He can easily remove the blessings. II Chronicles 7: 14 guarantees restoration if Christians repent of their sins. If we don’t do a u-turn, we may lose America.

Lest I forget, my thanks to the numerous police, firemen, nurses, smokejumpers, and others whom keep us safe. God bless you.
