Less safe in Biden’s America?

On the second page of today’s Spokesman (August 27th, 2020) two side-by-side articles caught my attention. One described the arrest of a 17-year-old ‘police admirer’ in Kenosha, who took it upon himself, as a vigilante, to defend a city he doesn’t even live in by killing two protesters and injuring a third. The Associated Press goes on to say that the gunman apparently was allowed by police to walk away from the scene with the rifle on his shoulder during the ensuing chaos. The teenage gunman’s social media expresses praise for law enforcement and references to Blue Lives Matter.

The headline of the second article was ‘GOP touts law enforcement as racial tension rises anew’. A quote from the Vice President,”The hard truth is…you won’t be safe in Joe Biden’s America.”

Haven’t we been living in Donald Trump’ America for the last 3 1/2 years? This social unrest is happening in Donald Trump’s America, not Joe Biden’s. Not to mention the gross mishandling of a virus that as of today’s paper has killed at least 176,294 Americans, by far the worst handling of the outbreak on the entire planet.

We live in Donald Trump’s America, and we are less safe because of it.
