Protesters hurt downtown

I love Spokane and have lived here more than 60 years. Since I retired, I like going to downtown and enjoying the park and doing some shopping.

As long as there is protesting marches in downtown, I will discontinue shopping and going to the park.

I fully support the Spokane Police Department. I’ve seen how they’ve cleaned up the STA bus plaza! The protesters have accomplished two things!

1) They’re protecting the criminals and potential criminals in the city of Spokane. Crooks couldn’t be happier!

2) Protesters are driving tourists away to other places because of their marches. They’re costing the city more expenses in providing police security during the marches.

I love the city of Spokane, but I will do my business on the North Side and avoid downtown.
