Fluoride options

The City of Spokane is considering adding an undisclosed form of fluoride to our water supply. This is the water we use to water our lawns, cook with, wash our cars, dishes, clothes, and ourselves.

Aside from forcing everyone to consume a chemical that not everyone wants, it seems wasteful. Couldn’t the city offer fluoride water dispensers at convenient locations around town like public libraries and schools where people could fill up their jugs and use as desired. I would predict that this water would actually be consumed by children and adults as a deliberate action to help prevent cavities.
