He’s the “chosen one”?

The only thing more shocking to anyone who has actually read the new Testament Gospels than Donald Trump’s outrages against basic human decency and morality is the belief on the part of so many white Evangelicals that Mr. Trump is “God’s Chosen One.”

How can anyone read the stories of Jesus and not conclude that Trump is the anti-Christ? Trump’s behavior is the polar opposite of the behavior of Jesus. To call him “God’s Chosen One” is the grossest of blasphemies.
