Speaking of costly …

Sheriff Knezovich, Prosecutor Haskell, and Police Chief Meidl want to reduce the size of the Spokane Regional Law & Justice Council, saying it is too large and ineffective.

The same criticism applies to the new jail which the three endorse: It would be too large and ineffective, and far more costly to the county than the SRLJC.
