Our children deserve more

In a time of unknowns, and difficulties, it easy to feel as though we do not have control of what is to come next. Our futures seem to be evolving and changing every day. On February 9, 2021, we have a brief moment in time to take control of our future. By voting, Yes for Kids. As a community, this is our opportunity to help mold our future leaders, support the ones who will lead after us and make tomorrow better than today.

My family has seen what this levy can do. Back in 2018 my daughter was diagnosed with several learning disabilities that have prevented her from able to sound out words, read, and communicate what she was thinking. In 2019, in her letter to Santa she asked that she be given the gift to read a book. Although Santa was not able to provide that, Spokane Public Schools did. When the community voted “Yes for Kids” in 2018, it gave my daughter the early intervention and specialist she needed in order to catch up to her classmates. I am so happy to say that after two and half years of intervention (that continued during COVID), my daughter now can read with confidence and is growing more confident every day. We are forever grateful to our community to allowing this to happen.

Please support the upcoming levy and vote Yes for Kids!
