There is no excuse

“With razor-thin margins, and dramatic changes to voting processes…millions are questioning their trust and confidence in our election process…. it is about examining allegations of potential fraud, certifying that states are protecting election integrity.” From Cathy McMorris Rodgers’ statement on January 5, 2021,

For example, what is missing in the statement is the fact Pennsylvania approved the methodology in voting over a year before the recent election. This was approved by the Pennsylvania Republican controlled legislature. What is missing is the fact all the frivolous lawsuits concerning voter fraud were dismissed by the Courts, even the Supreme Court.

After the riot on January 6th, McMorris Rodgers reversed course and said she would certify the vote of the Electoral College. At least she did not follow the other 147 members of Congress that still objected to the certification.

How did we get to this juncture? After the November election, the enablers of Trump refused to accept the election of Biden and Harris. These enablers supported the suits filed by Trump and his minions with Trump has the right to seek all legal avenues. These enablers fanned the conspiracy flames of voter fraud and planned to object the Electoral College certification.

Cathy, you cannot wipe the blood off your hands by a last-minute change. You were part of the enabler group that let up to the riot and desecration of our Capital.
