Choose qualifications

“While encouraged, masks will no longer be required in East Bonner County Library facilities as of June

1. The library board voted April 30 in a special meeting to discuss lifting its requirements for facial coverings,” according to the May 5 Bonner County Daily Bee. The library will continue its curbside service for those uncomfortable without a mask mandate.

So here we are with an election coming up with two very qualified incumbent board members, Jeanine Asche and Amy Flint, running against two one-issue, less qualified challengers, whose only issue is “no masks.” There will not be masks anyway.

Who will you choose on May 18: one-issue, no-mask candidates? Or Jeanine Asche and Amy Flint, who are experienced and highly qualified?
