Burrows far and away the best

The only commissioner that I know personally and professionally is Mark Burrows.

I knew him when he was chief of the Chewelah Police Department. I was on the Chewelah City Council for 8 years and I was chairman of the Public Safety Committee. As such I spent a lot of time with Mark. Some of that time was watching him work on his budget. He was always trying to see how he could do something to improve the department and save the city money at the same time.

One of the jobs of the commissioners is setting the salaries of the employees. Mark will keep a keen eye on what monies are available and how best to distribute them and see to it that we get a dollar’s worth of service for a dollar spent. He will get to know all his employees, their job, and what he can do to assure that everyone has what they need to get their job done completely and efficiently.

Mark is sincere, honest, dependable, reliable and conservative. He works well with people and, in my opinion, is far and away the very best candidate for the job of county commissioner.
