Do I understand that the committee charged with drawing the new county commission districts has reached agreement on lines but has come to impasse over initial term lengths?

The disagreement seems to be whether Al French’s potential district should be given a four- rather than two-year initial term. French can resolve this like a gentleman. He can retire. Over 20 years at the public trough is enough.
