Geffken and Dean for SPS

Daryl Geffken and Kata Dean are competent candidates who are running for the Spokane Public School Board. I urge you to vote for them. They are determined to see that children in our community are given the opportunities they need to be successful in life. I am convinced that they will bring effective ideas to the board and represent parents and taxpayers well.

Kata Dean is a compassionate mother, has worked in behavioral health and has extensive volunteer experience. She has children in the district and truly cares about all kids.

Daryl Geffken is also a concerned, involved parent of children in the district and has incredible related work experience and education, including a Ph.D. from Gonzaga University. In addition, he has the financial acumen to dive deep into the numbers. For nearly twenty years, Daryl has been an active member of the Spokane community and partnered with a variety of organizations. In comparison, his opponent Dr. Melissa Bedford has been in Spokane for less than two years.

This is an important election at a challenging time. I urge you again to vote for these two candidates because I know they will be outstanding board members if elected!
